Friendly Reminders & Updates

  • School Council – Next meeting Tuesday January 21 at 6:00pm in the Learning Commons. Please visit our School Council website page.
  • Thanks to everyone who joined at Winter Art Night! We had over 100 families attend!
  • Staffing Update for Grade 6 – We are pleased to be able to add additional teaching support to our Grade 6 classroom, who have 31 students per homeroom class currently. We are staffing a 0.3FTE (part time) teacher position to support class size for Grade 6, and hope to have a permanent staff member to introduce to you after the Winter Break. The focus of the new teacher will be literacy and mathematics flexible groupings. There will not be changes to homerooms in Grade 6 and Grade 6 students will still have their current homeroom teacher as their key contact.
  • Please remember that we can not share food due to allergies and diet restrictions. We ask that you do not send edible holiday or birthday treats to school for the class. Thank you!
