Student Voice Club Updates

• Seven Sacred Teaching for January is Courage/Bravery - Bear.
• Spirit Day – Wednesday, January 29 – Crazy Hat, Hair, or Shirt Day. Please keep this day fun and respectful!

Friendly Reminders & Updates

• School Council – Next meeting Tuesday January 21 at 6:00pm in the Learning Commons. Information on our new external video surveillance system. Please visit our School Council website page. 
• Intramurals – Basketball intramurals this week.
• K-3 Screening Assessments  - Grades K-3 students will be administered the second round of Literacy and Math diagnostic screeners over the next several weeks. These are short in-class assessments that monitor students’ learning. They are not assessments that are part of the students’ report card mark. Teachers use the results of these assessments to plan instruction and intervention groupings for students who may need extra help in these subjects. Grades 1- 3 completed these assessments in the fall, and will now check on their progress.
