Student Voice Club Updates

• Sacred Teaching for January is Courage/Bravery - Bear.
• Spirit Day – Wednesday, January 29 – Crazy Hat, Hair, or Shirt Day. Please keep this day fun and respectful!

Friendly Reminders & Updates

• School Council – Next meeting Tuesday March 11 at 6:00pm in the Learning Commons. This will be our annual School Planning and Engagement presentation and survey. Please visit our School Council website page. 
• Report Cards – Remember to check online for your report card this Monday, January 27. Please take the time to celebrate your child’s accomplishments. If you have any questions, please reach out to your child’s teacher.
• Family Literacy Week – Monday, January 27 is Family Literacy Day! We are recognizing the importance of literacy at home and at school. Be sure to check your teachers’ Weekly Updates for more information! You can access at-home resources here.
• Winter Walk Day – Mark your calendar for Wed, Feb 5! Winter Walk Day encourages Canadians to be active in the Winter Months. We are planning a 15 minute community walk on this day. Stay tuned for more information!
• Lunar New Year – Did you know January 29 is Lunar New Year? This year is the Year of the Snake.
