Friendly Reminders & Updates
- Seven Sacred Teachings – The last of our seven sacred teachings for May/June is Truth (Turtle)
- School Council/Casino Update
- Our next School Council/Society Meeting is scheduled for September. Thanks to our council for supporting field trips, Grade 6 farewell, technology, robotics, art supplies, PE supplies, and more!
- Retiring Staff Members - We would like to recognize two long-time staff members who will be retiring at the end of June. Ms. Skubovius (EAL assistant) and Ms. Tarrant (Office) have been an important part of Cecil Swanson School for many years! Their kindness, care, compassion, and dedication to CBE and our Cecil Swanson community will be greatly missed, and has been so appreciated. We wish both well and want to say THANK YOU from all of us as they move on to their next adventures.
- Yellow School Bus - Reminder that the registration deadline for next year is this Sunday, June 14. If you want to take the bus and do not register, it can take up to 6 weeks to get on a route in September.
- Please check the website calendar for important dates! We are looking forward to our Grade 6 farewell, Activity Day, and Family Pancake Breakfast!

- Thursday, June 25 - Grade 6 Farewell (1:00pm). Report cards viewable online today.
- Friday, June 26 - Early Dismissal Day. Last day of school Family pancake breakfast at 7:45am
- Monday/Tuesday June 29, 30 - Non instructional days - no school for students.
