Student Voice Club Updates
- Sacred Teaching for February/March is Truth – Turtle. Truth is having the knowledge of our cultural teachings. We know who we are in our heart. By knowing that, we know the truth.

Friendly Reminders & Updates
- School Council – Next meeting Tuesday March 11 at 6:00pm – This meeting has been moved online due to CUPE labour action. This will be our annual School Planning and Engagement presentation and survey. Please visit our School Council website page.
- Parent-Teacher Conferences – March 20 and March 21 are parent-teacher conference dates. We will be confirming shortly if these conferences will be online only or will have an in-person option.
- Ramadan Begins Feb 28 – We recognize that many of our students and staff are fasting in recognition of Ramadan this month. Our teachers and PE Specialist in particular are aware that some students may need to participate in less strenuous activities in class, at recess, and in PE class. Please know that there will not be any impact to their progress or their classroom assessments. We also are able to provide alternate seating in different areas of the classroom away from students who are eating, if any students wish. Please do reach out to the office or your teacher if you have any questions.
