Student Voice Club Updates

Student voice has chosen Humility – Wolf as our next and final of the Seven Sacred Teachings for this year.
- Spirit Day “Swap Day” – Thursday May 29 – Students dress as teachers, teachers dress as students “Swap Day”. Please note that we are not dressing as specific individual students or teachers, just having fun wearing types of appropriate clothing or fashion trends that we see each other wearing to school!
- Spirit Days – “Dance off days” – Starting May 26 - We are having a friendly classroom virtual dance event on Google Meet! Each classroom will be paired up with another class, and will perform an on-the-spot group dance for the rest of the school. We’ll be using various styles of music, and classes won’t know which style they will dance to until moments before the Dance Off begins. The other classrooms will decide which group will move on to the next round, until we crown the 2025 Cecil Swanson Dance Off Champion Classroom! Should be fun!

Friendly Reminders & Updates

School Council – We had our final meeting last week! Thanks to council and everyone for your support. We will be looking for new members to attend meetings, as well as volunteers for our Casino next year. Next meeting Tuesday, September 23 at 6:00pm – Please visit our School Council website page.
New Curriculum Supplies – We have purchased over $15,000 worth of new resources to support Language Arts, Mathematics, and Science. Thank you to our School Council/Society for a chunk of funding that allows this! We are excited for our new Robotics Kits, Rolling Math Manipulative Carts, Decodable Book Sets, and Science supplies to arrive soon!
Transportation and Bell Times 2025-26 - Our Bell Times will remain the same next year. There are updates to transportation. Please see our News Story.
Save the Date - School Council Information Event – “Screenagers” – School council is hosting a video presentation/learning evening for parents on Thursday, May 29 at 6:00pm in the gym. The topic is related to technology use among young people. Please look for a SchoolMessenger with further information coming soon.
