Student Voice Club Updates
- Seven Sacred Teaching for November is Love – Eagle.
 - Upcoming Spirit Days are:
 - Wed Nov 6 – Take Care of this Place Day – Each classroom will be making a contribution to making our school safe, welcoming, and tidy!
 - Wed Nov 27 – Technology Day

Friendly Reminders & Updates
- Intramurals, Grades 3-6 – Big thanks to Ms. Thomson, our PE specialist, who is going to be starting intramurals in the gym over the lunch hour in November, and to other teachers volunteering their time to support this! Grades 3-6 students will be able to sign up for intramurals soon, and schedules will be based on how many students are interested in participating. Each grade group will have their own day of the week, and the activity will be changed based on the learning in Phys-Ed. First up is likely Pickleball!
 - Remembrance Day/Indigenous Veterans’ Day – We are accepting cash poppy donations in the office. Thanks to Grade 5 who are hosting the ceremony in the gym on Thurs Nov 7 at 10:00am.
 - Child and Youth Well-Being Family and Caregiver Fall/Winter series 2024/2025 - The Calgary Board of Education invites all parents and guardians to join us in a pre-recorded and live online series focusing on child and youth well-being. These sessions will be hosted in partnership with experts from Alberta Health Services and Recovery Alberta and will explore topics such as Peer Pressure, Healthy Relationships, Mental Health for Highly Sensitive Teens, and navigating Parent-Teen relationships. The Calgary Board of Education invites all parents and guardians to join us in a pre-recorded and live online series focusing on child and youth well-being. These sessions will be hosted in partnership with experts from Alberta Health Services and Recovery Alberta and will explore topics such as Peer Pressure, Healthy Relationships, Mental Health for Highly Sensitive Teens, and navigating Parent-Teen relationships.
Acting on feedback from participants who joined us during our live online sessions over the past two years, moving forward we invite all guardians and parents to listen to the pre-recorded or live sessions at their convenience.
