Friendly Reminders & Updates
- Final Weekly Update - This is our final weekly update of the year! Please check our website and your email for updates over the summer!
- Fall Teacher Staffing Updates - Thanks to all of our departing staff members for your contributions! We will introduce you to any new staff who join us in August.
- We will be saying farewell to Ms. MacLean (EES) and Ms. Corri (Bridges), both of whom have accepted positions starting new EES programs at other schools.
- We have several teachers who have been with us for the year on temporary contracts that end in June. We aren't yet sure if all of these teachers will return in the fall. Thank you to these staff members for jumping in mid-year to support grade teams for teachers on leave, or as a result of additional government complexity funding: Ms. Paringit, Ms. Alpana, Ms. Bakare, Ms. Ji, Ms. O'Shoughnessy, and Ms. Warring.
- We will say "Bye for now!" to three teachers who are taking a year leave next year, but would return the following year: Ms. Lin, Ms. Tat, and Ms. Fallis.
- National Indigenous Peoples' Day Monday June 22 - Ask your child how their class celebrated this day! We will begin our day in circle on the land in the morning to start things off in a good way!
- Pancake Breakfast Friday June 26 at 7:45am - Families are welcome to join us for our annual free Stampede Pancake Breakfast! We will be serving until about 8:30am. Hope to see you there!
- Last Day of School - The last day of school is Friday, June 26. This is an early dismissal day, so students are finished at 12:10pm.
- Report Cards - Are viewable in MyCBE on Thursday, June 25. Please save a copy as they are only available for a few weeks.
- Back to School Information
- Our Back to School page is now updated, and full information on the first day of school will come to you over the summer via schoolmessenger, as well as on our website. You can find an updated 2026-27 Calendar on the Calendar Page of our website.
- You'll receive a welcome call and email from a teacher on your child's grade team August 26 or 27. Please plan to come to our Open House on Friday August 28. You can drop in between 10:00am and 12:00pm to visit your classroom and meet your teachers.
- The first day of school is Monday, August 31

- Friday, June 26 - Early Dismissal Day. Last day of school Family pancake breakfast at 7:45am
- Monday/Tuesday June 29, 30 - Non instructional days - no school for students.
- Friday, August 28 Open House 10:00-12:00
