Dear Cecil Swanson families in Grades 4, 5, and 6,
In support of our commitment to Safe and Caring Schools and student well-being, we are excited to introduce the Kickstart and Restart programs to our Grades 4-6 students. The Kickstart and Restart Programs are provided by guest speakers from McMan Calgary, an organization that partners with CBE schools to provide evidence-based instruction that promotes social and emotional development. The information provided through the program aligns with our Phys-Ed/Wellness (formerly called Health) curriculum. Teachers support the learning in the classroom. All Grades 4-6 students will receive the instruction for about one hour per week for the next several months, on Tuesdays.
