We are looking forward to our October Spirit Day this Friday, October 31. Students and staff are welcome to wear their Hallowe'en Costumes to school on this day! Please see some considerations below.

Please remember that we are not able to share food and candy at school. Please do not send your child with food items or treats to share.

Please make sure your child's costume:

  • Is school appropriate, safe, and not scary to younger students.
  • Please do not wear masks or bring props such as weapons, wands, etc.
  • Students need to be able to learn in their costumes - this includes being safe for outdoor play and in PE class.
  • Students should either plan to wear their costume all day, or be able to change into/out of their costume in the classroom. We do not have space in the washroom for everyone to change.
  • If students have a larger costume that might interfere with learning, they will have a chance to change into their costume for a short time in the classroom so that they can participate in the fun.
  • If your child rides the bus, please consider bus safety.
  • Please remind students to be respectful of others when wearing their costumes.

If you have any questions please reach out to your child's teacher or to our office.
