Student Voice Club Updates
- Seven Sacred Teaching for November is Love – Eagle.
- Upcoming Spirit Days: Wed Nov 27 – Technology Day. Student voice will choose December Spirit Days at our meeting next week.

Friendly Reminders & Updates
- School Council – There is no December council meeting. Thanks to our Casino Society for approving over $20,000 to support teaching and learning at Cecil Swanson!
- Intramurals – Gr 3-6 Pickleball continues this week at lunch.
- Technology Upgrades – Cecil Swanson will be replacing our 14 end-of-life Mac Laptops with over 50 new Chromebooks! This will increase access to technology. Thanks to Parent Casino Society/School Council for supporting the purchase of other tech items (e.g. SmartBoards) so that we can focus this funding on student devices.
- Safety Update – Parents, please remind your students of the dangers of putting their mouth or tongue on frozen playground equipment or fences. Students who are new to cold weather may not realize that this can cause an injury. Thank you, families, for reinforcing this message!
- Cold Weather Bus Zone Reminder – With the cold weather, we have noticed a few more people parking in our bus zone. Please do not park here. Please also avoid doing U-turns in front of the school, both for safety, and because the road is very slippery and you may get your car stuck in the snowbank. Thank you!
- Winter Art Night Thursday December 12 at 6:00pm - Join us for our festive community evening! More info coming soon.
