Friendly Reminders & Updates

  • Seven Sacred Teachings – We are again learning about the Seven Sacred Teachings this year! Each month will have a different teaching to focus on. The teaching for September is Respect - Buffalo
  • Please remember to dress for the weather!
  • Please be sure to read your teacher's weekly update email also!
  • Staffing Update and Welcome - Student Services Learning Leader
    • Please join me in welcoming Ms. Julie Nicklin to the newly created position of Student Services Learning Leader! Ms. Nicklin is new to Cecil this year. She will be working as part of our Resource team to support student learning and well-being and supporting teachers in programming for student success. Ms. Nicklin has a wealth of experience and is eager to get to know our students and families!
  • Terry Fox Run - Cecil Swanson will participate in the annual Terry Fox Run on Friday, October 2. More info coming soon!
  • School Council
    • Our next school council/parent society meeting is Monday September 21, 2026 at 6:00pm in the Learning Commons.
